Ronald John Saunders of Wales, UK, is looking for information about former RCMP officer George Curleigh, who is his wife's grandmother's brother. He was known to be present at a dinner of the Yorkton Kinsmen in 1945. He joined the RCMP on October 9, 1920, and retired on June 21, 1956. He died in 1985. Probably Adolf was a teacher. Mathilda was born about 1870. It would be nice to know if I still have some relatives over there. If you know of any, please e-mail." They are also looking for information about other possible relatives: "There are a lot of people from Sweden who emigrated in the beginning of 1900 to Saskatchewan. Many took residence in the neighbourhood of Yorkton and Melville. We found even a city called Stockholm which is our capital in Sweden! Are there any links to make further enquiries, for example church books and old high school records? We try to get in contact with some relatives on my father's side.
